Newquay Loyalty CardNewquay Loyalty CardNewquay Business Improvement District launched the new loyalty card scheme in April 2012 with the aim of increasing footfall into the town centre.The the Newquay Loyalty Card was created to replicate a similar remit to that of the Newquay First scheme, but with a key aim in working towards well-promoted offers that constantly change and update, for the benefit of local businesses and shoppers alike.The card, which is now available to pick up, is free of charge from Newquay Tourist Information Centre, and most participating businesses, is available to all residents of Newquay and surrounding areas, looking to shop in Newquay and grab a great bargain. In addition to offers that run continuously throughout the year, businesses have also offered monthly ‘themed’ offers to keep the scheme fresh and enticing.Each month, all offers are advertised on www.visitnewquay.org and www.newquaybid.co.uk/loyalty-card as well as on Facebook and Twitter, and bi-monthly competitions in the Newquay Voice, showcasing a selection of monthly ‘star’ offers. In the first 12 months to help launch the scheme there was also a postcard which was mailed-out to all TR7 postcodes every two months to encourage footfall to the town centre and uptake of loyalty cards – that equates to 9,258 direct mail drops to Newquay households. A hard copy of all offers are now available to pick up free of charge from Newquay’s Tourism Information Center, posters are also present in the Newquay Town Council notice boards each month.Newquay Voice Adverts- April 2012 Onward’s
