A proud member of the Learning Community Trust, our ‘all through school’ is truly a community for life. The HLC campus consists of a nursery, primary, secondary and special school within a purpose built PFI cutting edge building that includes a leisure centre and community library. The primary phase, for 3-11 year olds is going through a period of planned growth due to its popularity and has been oversubscribed for many years. The secondary phase, for 11-16 year olds, is also progressing through a period of planned growth being hugely over subscribed for a number of years. Both our secondary and primary phases were graded as “GOOD” by Ofsted in our most recent inspection.We also have a local authority maintained nursery, as part of our primary provision, which has places for 60 children who attend either a morning or afternoon session in a group of 30.ABC Nursery, which is privately run but located on the campus and works very closely with HLC and The Bridge Special School. Many of our staff’s children attend this nursery and it has an “Outstanding” Ofsted grade.We are incredibly proud of our facilities and especially how they are used by our community. Our extensive Community facilities, called The Circle is managed by Interserve as part of the PFI agreement. Our school and community have access to extensive sports fields, swimming pool, fitness suite as well as a Public Library, Coffee shop, Theatre and Dance Studio.We do hope that you find the website easy to use.
