Setting up Free Reward Items That Consumes Points Based on Price
From the sidebar Admin menu, click on Loyalty Programs, then select the program you want to set up the free items in and click Edit Selected Loyalty Program (s). Scroll down to the Loyalty Program Redeem Rules Form and click the Add redeem rule button. Name the rule and select "Price Reward Rule" in the Rule Engine Type column.

Go to Products > Catalogand search for "Loyalty Reward". By default, this will be product code 83800661. Select the product and click the Edit Selected Product(s)button. Set the Product type to "Not Contributing to Sales" and click the Save button. Exclude Gift Card Products and Loyalty Reward Product from Earn Rules

Combine Loyalty accounts to share points : RITE Help Desk
Log in to the back office and go to Admin > Loyalty Memberships. Here you can search for both the husband and wife and check the points. Search for the member you want to check then highlight the customer and select " Edit Selected Loyalty Membership ". You will want to record a few numbers from both accounts.
