Please note that all our telephone calls are now recorded for monitoring, safeguarding and training Monday 27th June - Friday 1st July 2022 (Week A)Notice of Early Closures For All StudentsThursday 30th June - early closure at 12.25pmThursday 7th July - early closure at 12.25pmEnd of Term ArrangementsIt has been another enjoyable year for all at St Edmund’s with so much to celebrate and reflect upon.  The last few weeks ahead of us continue to be filled with events, learning and personal development.   As we start to look forwards the end of the summer there are some key points to share/remind families of. Early Closure A reminder of an early closure on Thursday 30th June 2022. Here the school finishes at 12.25pm in order to facilitate staff training and 12.25pm on Thursday 7th July 2022 to set up for our Leavers Prom. End of Term Arrangements The last day of term is Friday 15th July 2022 and we will be celebrating the onset of the holiday with the ‘End of Year’ service at St John’s Cathedral.   This will finish just after 11.30am.  Students may then either be collected from the Cathedral or make their own way home as normal. You are welcome to join us for the ‘End of Year’ service which will start at 10.30am.  This will be a delightful spiritual end to a successful year of learning and a welcome moment of reflection as we approach the summer holiday.   It will also be an opportunity to celebrate all that has taken place through this year at St Edmund’s and give thanks for all our successes.Start of Term Arrangements Pupils will return the next academic year as follows:Thursday 1st September: Inset day (School closed)Friday 2nd September: Year 7 ONLY (8.20am start) Monday 5th September: All Years (8.20am start) Please click here to view the full letter with more dates/key informationSports Day - Thursday 14th July 2022: Years 7, 8 & 9 Sports Day will take place on Thursday 14th July 2022 between 8:30am and 2:45pm. Students should arrive into school promptly to register and then walk directly to HMS Temeraire. Students shall be released to go home directly from HMS Temeraire at approximately 2:45pm. Students must wear correct school Physical Education kit (St Edmunds T-shirt, shorts or plain socks) NO leggings throughout the day.
