Our school is a one-form entry Church of England academy on the outskirts of Ashton-Under-Lyne. We are an associate church of the Christ Church community, part of the Manchester Diocese.  Our everyday life is based on Christian values making us a welcoming, caring and considerate community for all children and their families. The rewards and consequences that we use in school support our Christian ethos. We always aim for all our children to be happy, safe, responsible and caring members of our school community. We aim for positive relationships and mutual respect between staff and children1. Class Dojos We really want to encourage the children to work together and help each other. The children are given ‘Dojo points’ for effort, good work, kindness, good playground behaviour etc. As the pupils collect dojo points they receive certificates and prizes. 2. Class Marbles To develop a sense of community and support pupils can earn marbles to put into the class marble jar. Once the jar is full the pupils can choose an activity to do as a class. This may include3.Star of the Week. A child from each class will be chosen as ‘star of the week’ cup each Friday, they are presented with a certificate to take home.4. Additional Rewards:Weekly class attendance and punctuality awards.Individual end of term 100% attendance award.
